Job Title: Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a maintenance specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment on site, testing and adjusting equipment in operation, auditing and reporting underground equipment, commissioning new equipment, and training customer personnel.

This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a high level of customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a good understanding of computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment on site
  • Testing and adjustment of equipment in operation
  • Auditing and reporting of underground equipment
  • Commissioning of new equipment
  • Training of customer personnel

The successful candidate will also be responsible for machine diagnostics and repairs, testing and adjusting of machine operation, and monitoring systems utilizing relevant literature and testing equipment. You will also assist clients, perform preventative maintenance inspections, and report findings.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have a high level of customer service, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a good understanding of computer systems.

Requirements
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol screen
  • Flexibility to travel to various sites as required
  • Current Australian drivers' licence and the ability to work in Australia
  • High technical/mechanical aptitude and a proven high level of customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems
