Ecological Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ecological professional to lead our high-performing team in NSW as an Ecological Practice Leader. This is an opportunity to lead from the front, delivering meaningful environmental outcomes for clients while guiding the team's strategic growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead our talented ecology team, driving delivery of significant projects and multidisciplinary programs. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring and inspiring a team of ecological professionals
  • Developing and implementing business development strategies
  • Providing high-level ecological expertise, reporting and advisory support
  • Engaging with clients, regulators and community stakeholders to communicate science and deliver value
  • Collaborating across teams to capitalise on inter-disciplinary opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a respected technical leader with:

  • A degree in ecology, environmental science or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in ecological consulting, project delivery and team leadership
  • Proven experience in managing technical projects and professional services teams
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record in business development and client engagement
  • Ability to navigate complexity, solve problems and deliver innovative solutions
