We are seeking a passionate and experienced ecology professional to lead our high-performing team in NSW as an Ecology Practice Leader.

The Role

As Ecology Practice Leader, you will lead our ecology team, delivering meaningful environmental outcomes for clients while guiding the team's strategic and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of ecological professionals
  • Develop and implement business development and growth strategies
  • Drive delivery of significant projects and multidisciplinary programs
  • Provide high-level ecological expertise, reporting, and advisory support
  • Engage with clients, regulators and community stakeholders to communicate science and deliver value
  • Collaborate across teams to capitalise on inter-disciplinary opportunities

Requirements

  • A degree in ecology, environmental science or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in ecological consulting, project delivery and team leadership
  • Proven experience in managing technical projects and professional services teams
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record in business development and client engagement
  • Ability to navigate complexity, solve problems and deliver innovative, commercially viable solutions
