We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to specialise in corporate advisory and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). In this role, you will engage in a variety of projects within the M&A and corporate advisory space, providing critical support on transactions and drafting commercial agreements. The quality and variety of work on offer provides a strong platform for career development, with opportunities to take ownership and grow.
Key Responsibilities:- Acting for buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, including undertaking due diligence.
- Advising on general commercial and corporations law matters.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Advising on corporate restructuring, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
- Acting for clients seeking approval from various regulators, including FIRB, ACCC and ASIC.
- Contributing to business development and marketing activities, as well as legal precedents.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and law graduates, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and commercial law.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
