Our Corporate and Commercial team is seeking a highly skilled Associate to join our ranks. As an Associate, you will play a key role in providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients across a range of corporate advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting for buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, including undertaking due diligence.
  • Advising on general commercial and corporations law matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Advising on corporate restructuring, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Acting for clients seeking approval from various regulators, including FIRB, ACCC and ASIC.
  • Contributing to business development and marketing activities, as well as legal precedents.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years post admission experience, working in a corporate advisory position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a willingness to take ownership and contribute to the success of the firm.
