AI Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a senior AI Solutions Engineer to drive the adoption of our AI solutions across various industries in Australia and New Zealand.
As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will identify potential clients, understand their specific needs, and provide tailored AI solutions that enhance their business operations. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies and experience relaying technical concepts to a diverse audience.
The Cloud and AI Infrastructure team at Cisco is responsible for helping customers change their business using Cisco technology in the data center and on cloud. The team works with customers, partners, and engineering teams to take customer problems and turn them into business advantage.
Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industries
- Develop and deliver customized AI solutions that meet client needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation
- 6+ years of technical presales experience with compute, storage, and/or network solutions
- Strong understanding of programming/scripting languages such as Python, MySQL, GitHub, Git, GO, ETL, OLAP, RDBMS, AWS, Azure, Google, IBM Cloud, or other platforms/programming languages
- Ability to create detailed documentation of standard methodologies for deployment around application acceleration, automation/management efficiencies, enterprise edge, and AI/ML solutions
- Excellent presentation skills to value-sell and deliver engaging workshops to both technical and non-technical audiences on AI and/or infrastructure topics
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- AI experience with Nvidia, IBM, Microsoft, Dell, NetApp, HPE, and/or other AI vendors
- In-depth understanding of language models including GPT-3, BERT, or similar architectures
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Snowflake, BigQuery and AI/ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face
Cisco offers competitive salaries based on location and qualifications. Estimated salary for this role in Australia is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
