Clinical Educator Role

About the Role:

The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and implement training programs that promote high-quality patient care and compliance with industry protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver annual competency training and assess staff performance to ensure excellence in patient care.
  2. Create new staff induction program and final assessment of staff readiness to guarantee seamless onboarding.
  3. Lead development and update of a 12-month training schedule to cater to diverse staff needs.
  4. Identify staff training needs and areas of risk with MPC Management and Clinicians to inform training initiatives.
  5. Deliver tailored training programs for staff with specific skills gaps to enhance their capabilities.
  6. Develop training programs for new equipment and methods to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  7. Oversee ELMO online training platform content and maintenance to ensure efficient learning management.
  8. Participate in clinical reviews to identify training improvements and optimize patient care outcomes.
  9. Record and report staff attendance and training assessments to track progress and inform future strategies.
  10. Prepare documents and reports for leadership meetings to facilitate informed decision-making.
  11. Improve business and clinical processes to maintain a customer-centric culture and drive quality improvement.
  12. Ensure a safe and respectful work environment and lead projects to increase safety and effectiveness.
  13. Mentor and train staff on road and assist with interview and orientation processes to foster a supportive learning environment.
  14. Audit staff and policy compliance with National Standards to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Display an effective communication style and ability to engage stakeholders.
  • Show highly experienced in patient care industry with a proven track record.
  • Demonstrate capacity to lead learning environments via formal and informal training.
  • Show experience in patient transport and meet ATA requirements.
  • Possess Clinical Instructor qualification and Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training (preferred).
