About the Role

The Nurse Practitioner Candidate will play a vital role in our Paediatric Haematology and Oncology team, providing coordinated and safe care for children undergoing treatment for cancer. This role requires excellent clinical decision-making skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering evidence-based nursing care.

Responsibilities

  • Patient assessment and care coordination
  • Gaining experience in enhancing clinical decision-making skills
  • Providing leadership, teaching, and support to the Nursing and Medical team
  • Role modelling and staff engagement through ongoing communication

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications in oncology, haematology, or paediatric nursing
  • Successful completion of or working towards Master of Nurse Practitioner qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in paediatric oncology
  • Experience in a senior nursing role
  • Current AHPRA nursing registration

Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
