About the Role

As a casual Myotherapist in Langwarrin VIC, you will provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals
  • Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue/s
  • Educating and training your clients on all aspects of therapy
  • Providing your clients with goal setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture
  • Referring your clients to Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology treatment where required
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals such as GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, allied health assistants and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored
  • Documenting and reporting on your client's condition and progress

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy
  • Must have Medibank Private and other private health registration
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application
Salary Estimate

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience.
