As a rehabilitation therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in achieving their goals and overcoming physical and mental challenges.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our team in the Tamworth region. As an occupational therapist at Benchmark Rehab, you will work with a diverse range of clients, from children to the elderly, helping them to regain their lives and build a breadth of experience.
Our clients seek support from us through various schemes, including CTP, life insurance, aged care, and NDIS. As a rehabilitation therapist, you will have the opportunity to innovate and work closely and creatively with your clients, outside of the workers' compensation scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop rehabilitation plans to help clients achieve their goals
- Work with clients to identify priorities and goals, and develop strategies to achieve them
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote independence and self-management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs and services
- Qualifications in occupational therapy and current AHPRA registration
- Experience working with clients with physical and mental health challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's license and access to a vehicle
