We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Vision Australia. As a person-centred therapist, you will work with adults, older adults, and their families to enhance their lives and promote independence.
Key Responsibilities- Support clients in achieving maximum independence and participation in activities
- Assess and train clients in the use of assistive devices and equipment
- Provide low-vision techniques and strategies to improve occupational performance
- Work collaboratively with a transdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services
- Nationally recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Knowledge and skills in working with children and young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
