Payroll Manager, Amazon Global Payroll Operations

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Operations Manager to join our dynamic Global Payroll Financial Operations team in Australia. As the world's leading e-commerce company, Amazon is continuously innovating to deliver a world-class employee experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive cutting-edge payroll solutions to enable our diverse workforce to be paid accurately and on time, every time.
- Leverage deep expertise in Australian payroll regulations and best practices to transform our payroll processes.
- Manage all aspects of country-wide Payroll Operations, including managing group workload, establishing priorities, and ensuring adherence to existing policies and procedures.
- Act as an escalation point in resolving outstanding issues with internal and external business partners, working across multiple time zones.
Requirements
- 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
- Experience managing Australia payroll function in a medium to large operational organization.
