Diesel Mechanic Role Summary: Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires the ability to work on heavy equipment, mobile plant, access equipment or similar.

  • Fault finding, troubleshooting and problem-solving breakdowns
  • Undertaking scheduled maintenance and servicing

The role involves utilising technical skills to problem solve and visiting customers on their sites, providing a high-quality and safe service.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Solid experience working as a diesel mechanic or HD fitter within the heavy equipment industry
  • Solid background in servicing, diagnostics and hydraulics
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safe work practices
  • A valid driver's licence and mechanical trade qualification such as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or similar
  • Full working rights in Australia and ability to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment
