Solution Development Specialist

The primary role of a Solution Development Specialist is to shape and qualify impactful solutions for customers in network, cybersecurity, and cloud domains. This involves guiding the bid process, ensuring we pursue opportunities that truly fit our capabilities and deliver value for clients and teams.

This includes collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop competitive and innovative responses, incorporating AI and new ways of working throughout to enhance results at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shaping and qualifying each bid by engaging with stakeholders to assess customer fit, Datacom's capability alignment, and strategic opportunity.
  • Leading and contributing to the development of compelling bid responses, articulating business benefits, solution approach, and competitive differentiators.
  • Estimating, scoping, and pricing professional and managed services, ensuring proposals are commercially robust and aligned with customer value.
  • Presenting, discussing, and refining solutions with clients, translating complex technology into actionable business impact.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and presentation skills, enabling them to communicate complex technical concepts with clarity and precision. Experience in bid management, solution design, and qualification for network, cybersecurity, or cloud services is highly desirable.
