At Superservice, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Logan City.

The successful candidate will have a Mechanical Trade Certificate or equivalent, with prior experience in performing basic to complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on small engines.

The role requires the ability to work autonomously on a range of products from petrol to diesel vehicles, including outdoor power equipment. Additionally, the candidate will be required to assist in other areas of the workshop on equipment disassembly, reassembly, and testing as needed.

  • Servicing, detecting & diagnosing engine faults and repairs
  • Interpretation of necessary parts
  • Dismantling engines and undertaking repairs
  • Testing equipment to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Auto Electrical knowledge beneficial
  • A valid driver's license
  • Own tooling
  • Ability to work autonomously, alone or in a team environment

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills. They must also be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening. Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform diagnostic tests on vehicle engines to identify faults
  2. Service and repair engines to ensure optimal performance
  3. Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicle engines
  4. Test and inspect equipment to ensure it meets quality standards
  5. Provide expert advice on automotive electrical systems
