Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team and take on a key role in shaping the finance function of two new dealerships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a dynamic environment and be part of a start-up process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate monthly management reports, profit and loss statements, and forecasts to help inform business decisions
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and variance analysis to ensure financial stability and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to tax and financial regulations through meticulous record-keeping and reporting
  • Maintain accurate vehicle stock control and floorplan reporting systems
  • Lead end-of-month processes, reconciliations, and financial close procedures
  • Liaise with external auditors and internal teams as needed to maintain high standards of financial governance
  • Oversee procurement and supplier agreements to optimize business relationships and costs
  • Manage payroll and oversee HR compliance to ensure smooth operations
About You:
  • Prior experience in dealership or automotive accounting is essential, preferably across multiple franchises
  • A recognized accounting qualification (e.g. CPA/CA) would be highly regarded
  • A strong understanding of dealership operations and DMS platforms (e.g. Titan, Pentana, AutoIT) is necessary for success in this role
  • Dealership start-up experience is highly valued, but not required
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must, along with a high level of accuracy, analytical skills, and time management
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is crucial
  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a genuine desire to engage with the broader team is essential
  • Dedication to efficiency, with proven experience in automation and continuous improvement, is highly desirable
  • A genuine passion for the automotive industry is a bonus
