Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional to join our team as an Application Support Specialist. This role offers opportunities for growth, exposure to multiple departments and work processes through collaboration with both business work process owners and the global Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organisation.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide frontline application support for a large portfolio of applications. Based in Brisbane, you will be part of a global team supporting engineering design and project management applications and data exchanges.

You will report to the Manager of Applications Support and collaborate with internal business customers and global peers to ensure applications and data exchanges are implemented in line with industry standards.

This role involves responding to customer needs, questions and concerns in an accurate, effective and timely manner. You will also be responsible for installing and maintaining software from approved suites, facilitating project systems reporting, data integration and work process review and improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining software applications
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards using Microsoft PowerBI and reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Assisting in project application and data exchange planning, deployment and support processes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven experience in application support and software maintenance
