Job Title: Senior Financial Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Advisor to provide financial services for our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS/IAS for clients.
  • Support clients with business structuring, cash flow forecasting, tax planning, and succession planning.
  • Build strong relationships by becoming embedded in clients' businesses and understanding their unique needs.
  • Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior team members.
  • Keep up to date with tax legislation and compliance developments, especially those impacting SMEs and rural enterprises.
  • Use Xero, MYOB, and other cloud-based tools to deliver efficient and responsive service.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Chartered or Certified Public Accountant qualification (or currently working toward).
  • Demonstrated experience working in a public practice, with exposure to SME clients preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation.
  • Excellent client-relationship and customer service skills, with a genuine interest and passion to provide solutions-driven outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in Xero, MYOB and the Microsoft Office suite, with experience using Access and/or HandiSoft, highly desirable.
  • 2x work-related references.
