Financial Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS/IAS for a diverse client base.
  • Support clients with business structuring, cash flow forecasting, tax planning, CGT, Division 7A, and succession planning.
  • Build strong relationships by becoming embedded in clients' businesses and understanding their unique needs.
  • Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior team members.
  • Keep up to date with tax legislation and compliance developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Chartered or Certified Public Accountant qualification (or currently working toward).
  • Demonstrated experience working in a public practice, with exposure to SME clients preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation.
  • Excellent client-relationship and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in Xero, MYOB, and the Microsoft Office suite.
