Empowering Lives Disability Support Specialist

This position involves empowering individuals with disabilities to live fuller lives by providing support and care tailored to their unique needs and abilities.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual who has experience supporting young people with psychosocial needs, and is passionate about making a positive impact in their lives.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals who share a commitment to delivering exceptional support services.
Key Responsibilities- Providing daily support and assistance with routine activities
- Facilitating access to community resources and appointments
- Encouraging independence and working towards personal goals
- BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS BASED ON TRUST AND RESPECT
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- Experience working with young individuals with psychosocial and/or complex needs
- Strong communication skills and a calm, compassionate approach
- Availability for at least 8 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate changing needs
- Full work rights in Australia
- A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Cert III in Individual Support (highly desirable)
