Quality Systems Coordinator

At Visy, we're seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to play a key role in driving compliance and continuous improvement in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role will support our NSW manufacturing facilities by ensuring compliance with quality and food safety management systems, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining effective internal processes.

You'll be responsible for managing compliance with ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and other customer-specific requirements, ensuring our sites meet stringent quality and safety standards.

As a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, auditors, and customers, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our quality systems and ensuring that Visy meets both customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain compliance with quality and food safety standards (ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000).
  • Lead external and internal audit processes, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of corrective actions.
  • Oversee document control and ensure systems are up to date with current protocols.
  • Conduct product testing and inspections, ensuring compliance with raw material and product specifications.
  • Collaborate with teams to analyse data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement action plans.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in continuous improvement, guiding business enhancement initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, both internal and external.
  • Lead Auditor qualification and hands-on experience with ISO9001, HACCP, and FSSC 22000.
  • Strong system management and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to lead projects.
  • Desirable: FMCG or corrugated board industry experience, and project management skills.
