Key Working Parameters

Job Overview:

  • The role is a critical component of the Benjamin project, tasked with transitioning former CCA brands in New Zealand to a new supplier. This involves working closely with R&D, Tech Ops, and the new supplier to develop formulation adaptations for existing products and ensure a timely transition.

Key Success Metrics

Work Focus

  • Contribute to product reformulation for Benjamin SKUs in New Zealand, ensuring a seamless transition to the new supplier.
  • Production of prototypes at lab scale.
  • Manage all necessary evaluations and reports relevant to product design and specification.
  • Calculate formulations using SLDS.
  • Filling accurately the database with stability requests.
  • Support master data and manufacturing setup for the new supplier.
  • Keep records updated and other databases according to internal policy.
  • Describe manufacturing conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and The Coca-Cola Company guidelines.

Functional Expertise

  • Has a broad understanding of key stakeholders and components of the value chain.
  • Responsible for delivering agreed tasks (Time & Quality).
  • Leverages prior education, suppliers, and literature to innovate within scope.
  • Leads project meetings.
  • Develops conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures in technical disciplines.
  • Applies knowledge in completing job responsibilities.

Communication Focus

  • Interacts with project team members (QA, SRA, Commercialization team, new supplier, customer, Global R&D) on factual matters.
  • Strong connection to Benjamin project lead for effective innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Food Science, or related fields.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in R&D, technical functions in food industries, including ingredient suppliers or FMCG industries.
  • Knowledge and experience in food service areas are beneficial.
