Job Title: Chemical Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented compounder to join our production team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and compounding liquid ingredients to produce high-quality cosmetic formulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately measure and mix liquid ingredients according to precise formulations.
  • Assist blending compounders and monitor blending operations for quality and consistency.
  • Document production data and participate in quality control testing.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Comply with SOPs and industry regulations within the cosmetics sector.
  • Collaborate with chemists and supervisors to improve blending efficiency.
  • Quickly report any process deviations or equipment malfunctions.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in blending, compounding, or production, ideally in cosmetics or chemical manufacturing. They must also be able to interpret technical documentation, including formulations and quality standards, and possess excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic production environment where you can apply your knowledge of chemistry and blending techniques to create high-quality products.

As a compounder, you will be working closely with the production team to ensure that all products meet our quality standards. This involves collaborating with chemists and supervisors to develop new formulations and improving existing ones.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
