Food Product Development Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Food Technologist to lead the development of dry food products for the food service sector.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute formulation strategies from concept to launch.
  • Balance customer requirements with proactive innovation to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Translate customer briefs into high-performance, shelf-stable formulations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, labelling, and certification standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless scale-up and first production runs.
  • Manage costings and ingredient functionality to optimize margins.
This role requires strong technical knowledge in seasonings, coatings, gravies, sauces, and functional ingredients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and experience in dry food formulation for the food service industry. Requirements include a degree in Food Science or a related discipline and 5+ years of NPD experience. Preferred candidates will be hands-on problem solvers with excellent project management skills.
