Job Title: Technology Site Manager

We are seeking motivated and versatile individuals to join our team, working with a dealer and their customer at their remote mine site in Indonesia. This role provides the opportunity to join a complex but interesting project with one of our key customers.

Autonomy is a sophisticated investment, and the customers that use it are equally cutting-edge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of highly skilled site-based employees.
  • Maintain key site performance metrics including technology availability, production metrics, operating cost per tonne, fleet productivity and safety.
  • Partner with the MineStar for Underground Product Support team to report any suspected product defects, collect troubleshooting data, and define interim corrective actions.
  • Develop the correct new products and services to meet the customer current and future needs at a job site.
  • Develop, prioritize, and implement strategies to address customer needs as well as ensure dealer servicing and support practices align with recovery strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require the following attributes:

  • University degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with CAT MineStar Technology an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in technology or mining fields.
  • Customer Focus skills: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions.
  • Consulting skills: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external.
  • Effective Communication skills: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques.
  • Problem Solving skills: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems.
  • Relationship Management skills: Knowledge of relationship management techniques.
Benefits

This is a Fly in Fly out role for a customer in Indonesia, the commencing roster is 2 weeks on site / 1 week off / 3 weeks remote from Caterpillar Australia offices.

The roster is subject to change to meet the operational requirements.

The successful candidate must be able to meet the requirements for a KTAS Visa for Indonesia.
