Company Overview: Frontline Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specializing in hospitality and tourism management. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our client's team in a dynamic and fast-paced pub environment.

Job Summary: As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pub, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the venue's financial performance meets expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Supervise daily operations of bars, dining areas, and gaming sections, ensuring seamless execution of events and functions.
  • Staff Management: Handle all staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, and supervision, to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial operations, including cost management, P&L, and KPI tracking, to ensure the venue's financial performance meets expectations.
  • Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patrons.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock orders and conduct regular inventory checks to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and execute events, including entertainment and promotions, to drive revenue and increase customer engagement.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular updates and reports to the owner on operational status, including financial performance and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a pub or restaurant environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on customer service and staff development.
  • Financial Management: Strong background in financial management, including cost control and budgeting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
