Head of Financial Management

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our financial management function.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior finance roles, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality financial services and contributing to organisational efficiency and effectiveness.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to join our Corporate Services team and make a significant contribution to the protection of Australia's unique wildlife and habitat.

The Head of Finance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising all aspects of the Finance function, working closely with our Executive Leadership Team and Directors to ensure the Finance function meets business needs.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.

Key focus areas for the role include adaptive and insightful business forecasting, analysis, and reporting, strong financial control and cash management, systems development and integration, and clear communication to deliver high-quality financial services to the business.

The role requires a CA or CPA designation (or equivalent extensive experience) and at least five years' senior experience with responsibility for key processes and/or team management.
