Job Overview

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading the areas of general ledger accounting, financial reporting & analytics under local and US GAAP, and preparing accurate and timely financial information.

This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with 7-8 years of experience post qualification, who has demonstrated strong leadership skills, financial management knowledge and skills, and experience managing a team in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of month-end and quarter-end financial reporting for entities to corporate and all stakeholders across the business.
  • Preparation and review of financial statements, audit requirements, statistical returns and regulatory returns for relevant authorities.
  • End-to-end management of all audits and support ANZ Controller in submitting timely filings for all entities.
  • Ensuring all intercompany agreements and accounting are set up in accordance with company policy, meeting all SOX requirements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant - CPA/CA with 7-8 years of experience post qualification.
  • Insurance industry knowledge.
  • Demonstrable financial management knowledge and skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and a desire to develop team members.
  • Experience managing a team, and in a remote environment preferred.
