This role oversees the development and implementation of integrated business strategies and services that enable operational excellence and ensure the highest standards of governance. The Executive Director, Corporate Services leads a group that supports executives across the organisation, requiring a leadership approach that empowers direct reports while maintaining accountability for outcomes.

The role is responsible for shaping and executing strategies that protect and advance the organisation's legal, regulatory, privacy, and information access interests. It provides expert guidance on complex legal matters and works closely with senior leaders to ensure effective representation in legal proceedings. The position also drives continuous improvement in work health and safety, governance, and enterprise risk management, fostering a strong and cohesive risk culture.

Additionally, the Executive Director provides strategic oversight of people and culture initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals in areas such as leadership, engagement, wellbeing, and talent development. The role also leads a high-performing communications and public affairs function, managing media and stakeholder relationships to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent communication with key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, business management, human resources, communications, government relations, or a closely related field.">

Experience:

  • Extensive senior executive experience, with a strong track record in strategic leadership, statutory reporting, and the development of policies and programs.">

  • Exceptional issue management capabilities, including the ability to navigate complex and politically sensitive matters with sound judgment and discretion.">
