Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our finance team as a Senior Finance Business Partner – Capital Works on a temporary contract.

This opportunity presents a chance to contribute to the delivery of significant community projects and provide high-level financial support across the organization.

You will build strong relationships with project managers and business units, offering a customer-focused finance service that delivers practical solutions and improved practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and analysis to support the development of the council's capital works program
  • Monitor delivery and ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements are met
  • Undertake business case and complex financial analysis for major projects
  • Support financial evaluations of strategic service planning as required

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in capital works, assets, or business partnering within a large-scale organization
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • CA/CPA qualification or working towards
  • Experience with TechOne/CI Anywhere highly regarded
