Machine Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to utilize their mechanical knowledge and skills in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pressure vessels, pipelines, and plant shutdowns. They will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on asset condition, supporting Asset Improvement Coordinators with daily tasks, and scoping and planning maintenance, shutdowns, and breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on equipment health.
  • Support Asset Improvement Coordinators with routine tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies.
  • Create work orders using SAP.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Trade Qualification (advantageous if accompanied by a Diploma of Engineering or willingness to pursue one).
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude and pride in your work.
  • Experience in similar roles or readiness to take the next step.
  • National Driver's Licence and computer literacy.
  • A passion for improvement and effective communication.
