Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Wayfinding Design Lead. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting new projects across the transport network, developing and delivering efficient and customer-focused services that enhance accessibility and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate detailed assessments, design, and implementation plans for signage and customer information across transport locations.
  • Prepare analysis and design documentation packages, including sign requests, message schedules, location plans, setouts, interface schedules, and removal schedules.
  • Assist in analyzing site issues, developing design solutions, and managing external design contractors to deliver quality documentation that complies with TfNSW standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A proven track record of experience in Wayfinding design discipline or similar, formed across design-led roles.
  • The ability to lead projects from concept through to implementation, engaging diverse stakeholders and managing complex design requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, able to translate complex design principles into accessible real-world applications.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, working to tight deadlines, and applying design thinking across disciplines such as information design, graphic design, urban design, or alike.
