We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Officer to join our team at the Building Commission NSW. Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain stakeholder and customer relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to identify new learning opportunities and progress existing ones
- Engage with senior leaders to assist in the design and review of learning modules
- Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of learning programs
- Contribute to the creation and execution of plans for new policies, projects, and initiatives, including developing strategies for implementation, communication, reporting and monitoring
- Support the team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved
- Manage project tracking, financials and reporting, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes, and within budget
- Continuously monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation and contribute ideas to improve processes and systems ensuring they achieve project outcomes and support the growth of the platform
- Contribute to CPD programs, workshops, and training sessions to support new frameworks and reforms
- Ability to undertake research and analysis into trends, policies and practices
- Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience building networks and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop clear and timely communications
- Solid understanding of design and content creation of education materials and programs
- Previous experience in project management, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure timely and successful delivery
- High level attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation, while meeting tight deadlines
- Experience working across multiple projects and managing competing priorities
