The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and commissioning a range of pedestrian access solutions. This involves working at client sites, conducting thorough site inspections and ensuring all equipment is properly installed and commissioned.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and commission all pedestrian access solutions in accordance with Australian AS5007 Appendix E.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure all equipment is properly installed and functioning as required.
- Complete and submit all necessary paperwork to an acceptable quality standard and within specified timelines.
- Liaise with clients regarding installation schedules and progress.
- Liaise with project managers on any issues that may arise from sites or other works to ensure timely resolutions.
- Comply with all relevant workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times.
- Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order. If tools are lost or broken, this must be reported to the manager immediately.
- Ensure motor vehicles supplied as tools of the trade are kept clean and in good working order at all times.
- Avoid damage to field devices and maintain them according to the provided maintenance policy.
- Communicate inventory and vehicle stock requirements with internal support teams to ensure availability for scheduled works.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per the SWMS identified on the Hazard Analysis task.
- Attend and participate in all project meetings, required training, audits, and other programs as required.
- Report all safety incidents, hazards, and risks by completing the required documentation and photos.
- Knowledge of maintenance processes and procedures.
- Good geographic knowledge of cities and states.
- Technical understanding of auto doors and related systems.
- Good digital competency and ability to use modern information technology systems.
- Current driver's license.
- Ability to work flexibly (overtime, out of hours, including weekends).
