**About this role**
Are you passionate about transforming the future of Transport and creating positive change for our community? Our Melbourne Transport Planning team are on the lookout for enthusiastic Transport professionals to provide technical expertise across pedestrian simulation modelling, demand analysis and operational assessments. With access to a global community of consulting specialists, you will collaborate with and learn from other exceptional minds.

**What will I do?**
- Assess, forecast and analyse pedestrian movements and behaviours leveraging both your technical knowledge and leading pedestrian simulation software packages.
- Work across a broad range of city shaping projects - capturing; stadiums, stations, city precincts, major developments, international events - placing the user at the centre of design decisions.
- Support and work alongside leaders in the pedestrian planning space, providing the opportunity to learn, expand your expertise and provide meaningful contributions to these keystone projects.
- Learn and develop technical and softer skills to support your growth and development, and project specific needs.
- Assist the development of initiatives to better utilise emerging technologies and digital platforms to improve data collection and the simulation of how pedestrians use spaces.

**What will I bring?**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Planning or other post-graduate degree relevant to transport consulting.
- Minimum of 4+ years relevant industry experience in Transport/Pedestrian Planning, preferably within a technical or consulting business environment.
- Relevant experience, depending on your career stage, of pedestrian modelling software packages such as Legion, MassMotion, VisWalk, etc.
- Awareness of demand forecasting, especially in the markets of Rail, Sports and Events, and Commercial Buildings.
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics and interpretation to develop a narrative to support decision making.
