Career Development Specialist

We are seeking a driven and compassionate professional to drive inclusive employment outcomes by connecting people with intellectual disability to local job opportunities.
This is a front-line, target-driven role where you'll combine case management with proactive employer engagement to create sustainable employment matches that benefit both the individual and the business.
- Develop relationships with local employers through networking, cold calling, and business development to identify job opportunities.
- Work closely with participants to understand their goals, address barriers, and develop tailored employment pathways.
- MATCH participants to suitable roles and provide ongoing support throughout recruitment, placement, and post-placement care.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation aligned with organisational standards.
- Achieve performance targets and KPIs related to placements, customer satisfaction, and business development.
- Experience in employment services, training, or community services with a proven track record of success.
- Proven ability to work in a sales or target-driven environment with strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Understanding of employer needs and the local labour market with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team with experience working with people with intellectual disability highly regarded.
