Job Title: Healthcare Professional

The role of the Registered Nurse in the Mental Health Unit is to deliver high-quality patient care consistent with policies, procedures, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients/clients.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Assess and manage risk within the mental health environment.
  • Develop individualized care plans in consultation with consumers, families, and carers.
  • Provide education and support to consumers and their families to promote recovery and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to proactively engage with patients/consumers to enhance service delivery.
  • Experience delivering high-quality patient care at a post-graduate level.
