Electrical Engineer - Technical Expertise

As an Electrical Engineer with PHE Group, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality technical designs and specifications for electrical projects.

  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation using standard drafting procedures with CAD equipment & software.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, carry out site inspections, markup drawings and backdraft as required.
  • Collaborate with senior Engineers to provide comprehensive designs, specifications and calculations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records for reporting and progress tracking within relevant registers for management and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of necessary documentation applicable to project completions and commissioning.
  • Manage technical queries, drawings registers and document control effectively.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar technical role within Mining and Construction Industry.
  • Hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of LV power system modelling and light modelling software such as PowerCAD, AGI/Dialux.
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines with well-developed organisational skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong team player and work ethic.
