Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage a portfolio of residential properties, including conducting regular inspections, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and addressing tenant inquiries
  • Provide effective communication between landlords and tenants
  • Ensure timely rent collection and pursue any necessary debt recovery actions
  • Provide regular updates and detailed financial reporting to clients
  • Collaborate with the broader team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain comprehensive property and tenant records in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Ensure compliance with minimum standards and safety checks
  • Coordinate repairs for the property portfolio and communicate with contractors
  • Conduct rent reviews and lease renewals
  • Complete condition reports, routine inspection reports, and exit reports for the portfolio
  • Open for inspections as required
  • Resolve issues and mediate disputes
  • Assist with VCAT applications and attendance
  • Work towards key performance indicators and targets
Requirements
  • Experience as a Property Manager, preferably in the residential leasing and property management sector
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • A results-oriented mindset and a proven track record of achieving key performance indicators
  • Proficiency in using property management software
  • A current driver's license and a clear police check
