Job Title: General Counsel Asia Pacific

We are seeking an experienced General Counsel to join our Asia Pacific team. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to our business units across the region.

About the Role

The General Counsel will be responsible for:

  • Providing legal advice and guidance to our business units across the Asia Pacific region
  • Managing legal counsels in APAC to promote consistency of practices across the region
  • Representing Teva in legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities
  • Implementing global and regional legal policies and SOPs
  • Drafting, reviewing and advising on legal contracts and commercial documents
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of legal experience working with business functions such as compliance, audit, finance, legal and regulatory affairs
  • Working knowledge of the legal landscape within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Commercial acumen with a global mindset and a good understanding of the different APAC markets
  • Leadership experience with ability to embrace and lead changes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation and to interface with management, commercial, customers and health authorities
