Career Opportunity for a Senior Counsellor Supervisor

Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for an experienced Senior Counsellor who wishes to take on a leadership role in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Quitline Supervisor, you will oversee a team of counsellors, providing guidance, support and mentoring to ensure the delivery of high-quality quit smoking/vaping services.

You will play a critical role in maintaining service performance, participating in quality improvement activities and contributing to excellence in quit smoking/vaping support and information. The successful candidate will be able to remain calm under pressure, execute services with confidence and patience and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in counselling, social work or psychology and at least 3 years post-clinical experience in counselling.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and training counsellors in a clinical service.
  • High level verbal and written communication skills, including clinical documentation and client communication.
