Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitting Supervisor to join our team. As a Mechanical Fitting Supervisor, you will play a vital role in mentoring and leading a dedicated team of fitters in the workshop.

About the Role
  • Lead and supervise a team of fitters in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including strip, assembly, and drawing amendments.
  • Recommend improvements to products and services.
  • Work safely and productively in both workshop and onsite environments.
  • Supervise and train fitters, ensuring performance and quality of work in a safe manner, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Ensure prestart checks are conducted and work areas are safe and hazard-free.
Requirements:
  • Cert III – Mechanical Engineering/Fitting & Turning.
  • Experience in mechanical fitting in workshops and onsite environments.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High Risk Forklift ticket (preferred).
  • Overhead Crane & Doggers ticket (highly desirable).
  • Current Drivers License required.
