Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker, providing care and support to clients in Western Australia.

This casual role is ideal for someone passionate about working with and caring for people. As a disability support worker and administrator, you will provide hands-on assistance to our clients, promoting their independence and social connections while ensuring positive health and well-being.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to clients in their own homes and the local community.
  • Mentoring clients on budgeting, finding employment, and developing social skills.
  • Onboarding new team members and providing administrative support.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility with availability.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Relevant experience in Aged Care and/or Disability Industry.
  • Knowledge of NDIS, disability, and support worker roles.
  • Driver's licence and vehicle.
  • Working rights in Australia.

Desirable Skills:

  • Customer service: Providing high-quality customer service, actively listening, and responding appropriately to participant feedback.
  • Work with external organisations: Building relationships with external service providers and customers.
  • Administration: Displaying computer literacy and using mobile devices effectively.
  • Communication: Verbal communication, active listening, and constructive expression of personal views.
  • Organisational skills: Time management, resource utilisation, and regular progress reviews.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of NDIS, disability support services, community sector, and Not for Profit organisations.
