Flight Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a flight attendant.

  • The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire cabin independently, including equipment checks, in-flight announcements, food and beverage service, and handling situations in the cabin.
  • Work on weekends, public holidays, shifts with early starts and late finishes, and some nights away from home.
Requirements:
  • Be 18 years of age or over.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Height no taller than 173 cm.
  • Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (completed within the last 3 years).
  • Demonstrate that you have:
    • Completed at least 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or
    • Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
    • Worked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or
    • Completed IELTS with an overall grade of 5.5.
  • Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which involves a police security check.
  • Passion for the role and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (swim assessment required).
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including during holidays and peak periods.
  • High level of personal presentation.
  • Natural willingness to care for and please people.
