About Aero Refuellers:

Aero Refuellers, a division of K & S Freighters, is a leader in the Australian aviation fuels reseller market. The business manages 30 airport fuel sites and delivers bulk fuels across the country. A key component of our work is the support of firefighting aircraft deployed during the summer months across Australia.

The Opportunity:

As we commence preparation for the 2025/26 fire season, we are looking for experienced and professional drivers who will play a vital role in ensuring aircraft involved in bush fire suppression are fueled safely and efficiently.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety during high-pressure fire season operations.

This position would suit a semi-retired or a person requiring casual work who is interested in the challenges of an aviation environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely refuel aircraft in accordance with aviation safety standards.
• Conduct pre- and post-fueling inspections of equipment and fuel systems.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel transactions and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and aviation regulations.
• Work collaboratively with firefighting crews, pilots, and ground staff in a fast-paced environment.

Success Profile:

• HR/HC License
• Dangerous goods license
• Safe Load Pass would be an advantage.
• ASIC or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required during fire season.
• Compliance with all safety, environmental, and aviation regulations.
