Sales Professional

As a Sales Engineer at Dotmar Engineering Plastics Ltd, you will be responsible for driving sales and uncovering new business opportunities. You will foster personal and professional growth while managing customer enquiries and following up on new sales leads.
You will conduct customer visits for specifications and design, provide detailed material information, and prepare quotations to close sales. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, collaborate with manufacturing staff on orders, and engage proactively for market intelligence and new opportunities.
You will participate in business development activities, attend training to enhance skills, and maintain accurate customer and sales records. You will plan strategically and report on sales activities to effectively execute the sales plan and drive business success.
RequirementsYou will have a proven track record in sales – with a strong "hunter approach". You will ideally have a tertiary qualification in Engineering or related. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, so your ability to build strong relationships and establish rapport is second to none.
You have a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail. You're excellent at managing your own time and a real self-starter; you don't need someone watching over your shoulder to get things done.
You work well in a team – we recognise that staff are our greatest asset and maintaining a positive working environment is non-negotiable. You have a current driver's license. Any experience within an engineering or manufacturing business is ideal, though not essential to the role.
