We invite you to collaborate with our residents in recording and preserving their extraordinary life stories. By sharing these tales, we not only honor their past but also create a lasting impact on future generations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to listen attentively to our residents, capturing the essence of their experiences and conveying them through written biographies. Our team works closely together to ensure high-quality outcomes are achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Listen Attentively: Engage with our residents, fostering an environment where they feel comfortable sharing their life stories.
  • Record and Transcribe: Utilize a Dictaphone to capture interviews and transcribe them into written biographies using Microsoft Word and transcription software.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work alongside our team to guarantee that every biography produced meets the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Microsoft Word Skills: Possess a deep understanding of Microsoft Word and its applications.
  • Typing Efficiency: Achieve a typing speed of 50 words per minute.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrate the capacity to work independently and tackle complex problems effectively.
  • Adaptability: Show willingness to learn new technology and software.

Preferred Skills:

  • Writing or Transcription Experience: Possess prior experience in writing or transcription.
  • Dication Software Knowledge: Familiarity with dictation software and transcription techniques.

Time Commitment:

A long-term commitment of up to 5 hours per week is requested, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
