Event Coordinator and Design Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Design and Events Coordinator to join our team at Brickworks Design Studio in Melbourne, VIC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate stylish events where customers and staff can experience Brickworks products and service in a safe and fun environment.
- Generate opportunities for events held by industry partners at the Design Studio.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Carry out colour consultations with project builder clients, completing colour schedules and achieving upgrades where possible.
- Manage Design Studio events or coordinate these through third-party event providers when appropriate.
- Drive promotion of the Design Studio through collaboration with the Brickworks Group Marketing team.
- Attend all events (where appropriate) to create and maintain relationships with customers.
- Assist customers who visit the Design Studio, using all opportunities to promote Brickworks products.
- Assist with meeting Design Studio key performance indicators, managing contacts and creating opportunities within Salesforce CRM.
- Provide first-class customer service in all instances.
- Raise purchase orders, submit invoices, submit credit card expenses by due dates and in line with company policy.
- Assist with keeping running costs within budget.
- Keep safety top of mind and ensure Brickworks OH&S policy is adhered to during events.
- Restock material samples, assisting the Design Studio Manager with merchandising when required.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, design, or business/event management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
- Colour Consultation experience desirable but not essential.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs desired.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and strong organisational skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and solid numeracy skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with all staff.
