Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned leader to drive innovation and execution in transportation networks. The ideal candidate will have the ability to motivate and direct teams to meet productivity expectations in line with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a robust health and safety culture through compliance with legislation and policy.
  • Manage daily operations, including task assignment and workflow management to support departmental metrics.
  • Act as a deputy for the Operations Shift Manager and Operations Lead as required.
  • Conduct debriefs with staff and ensure accurate completion of paperwork.
  • Assign tasks to team members as needed to support workflow and daily metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Shift Manager and Operations Lead to ensure adequate resourcing, including training needs, absence, and performance management.
  • Provide training to new associates to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge to perform tasks.
  • Track and report hours and schedules for associates.
  • Resolve process-related issues as needed.
  • Ensure high-quality equipment defect reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
