Business Consultant Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Business Consultant. In this role, you will act as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions.

Your main responsibilities will include configuring and implementing SaaS solutions for customers, gathering functional and business requirements from clients, translating them into a functional hosted solution design, and managing select customer implementations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support multiple implementation projects via onsite and remote configuration and development.
  • Gather functional and business requirements from clients and translate them into a functional hosted solution design that meets customer needs.
  • Configure, test, and document dashboards, reports, and underlying data models to meet functional design and specifications.
  • Manage select customer implementations, including loading new data and reviewing/validating dashboard and report outputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to comprehend complex spreadsheets/data and streamline processes into the solution.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to come up to speed on complex concepts with minimal assistance.
  • Client-focused attitude with excellent customer advocacy skills.
  • High level knowledge of enterprise IT organizational, business, and technical environments.
Technical Domain Focus & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a business or technical analyst role for medium to large scale software implementation projects.
  • Strong data analysis/manipulation skills.
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts.
  • Skilled at working with large data sets and resolving data-related issues.
